On a very wet and rainy September 2, 2006 the Second Annual Apple Festival was held at the village. All outdoor activities had to be cancelled. The Apple Recipe Contest was the winning activity of the day at the Millbrook Village Apple Festival. Although attendance was low because of Saturday’s continuous rainfall, visitors were treated to some delicious apple treats at the VanCampen Farmhouse kitchen. What was missed in the day’s activities was made up for by some great culinary delights. Also on display were arts and crafts produced by some of the Millbrook Village Society volunteers. As you can see in the pictures, these individuals can be very crafty.
