On a sunny but cold December 1, 2007 the Van Campen Farmhouse, and other buildings were decorated in a Christmas theme. The farmhouse was the center of activity with the toys put on display by their maker - Wayne Grove. In the kitchen area, volunteers helped children make homemade decorations and warm cider and cookies were available to warm the hearts. the Hymn sing was scheduled for December 2 but had to be cancelled because of bad weather. Rescheduled to December 9 it was again cancelled. Old man winter is upon us.
