Comments: My husband and I would like to visit Mellbrook Village somewhere halfway september. But I understand that there's a possibility to find either part of the buildings closed or even worse the whole village because there are no volunteers available. To avoid a big disappointment I would like to know what our chances are to see everything, including costumed people to tell us all about their "work" and "homes". Could you please inform us?
Thank you very much in advance,
Jo Schaar- Versluys.

Comments: Jacob Welter was a long time resident of Millbrook. He was the son of Conrad Welter and a descendant of Revolutionary War veteran Henry Welter/Walter. Henry had a son also named Henry who married Margaret Bird.
I hope to correspond with someone who has information about this family.

Comments: Thanks to all the members that attended the Annual Society Dinner at the Walpack Inn. It was a great evening and my wife Rose and I enjoyed the evening thoroughly. We were a little short of the top brass but unfortunately they had other committments which couldn't be broken. It would have been nice to hear some words of encouragement and plans for the upcoming year. A Happy Christmas season to all. Hope to see you at the Christmas Hymn sing this evening.

Comments: My daughter and I visited your village two times this year. About 20 years ago my mother/father-in-law and families of their adult sons would visit Millbrook regularly for several summers. I had forgotten all about what a quaint little village Millbrook is. It appears not to have changed at all, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting and can't wait to see you on Sunday, December 5 for the Christmas Hymn Sing.
Admin reply: Millbrook Christmas Hymn sing is on December 2, not December 5.

Comments: We are looking forward to visiting the village this weekend for Millbrook Days. Can you tell me if there is food available for purchasing lunch or should we bring our own? Thank you for your help.
