Dues and Membership--
If you like what you see in the village and would like to lend financial support to the work you are welcome to become a member of the Millbrook Village Society. Dues are $10.00 per family per year and the membership year begins on May 1. To become a member please contact:
Joan Post - Membership --e-mail to emerald@nac.net
Of course financial donations are always welcome to help us finance some of the work that we have in progress. Projects like the gristmill, the sawmill and the buggy shed were all done with donated funds from the public. Donations can be sent to: Gay Plog, 196 Rt. 519, Newton, NJ 07860. Please make checks payable to Millbrook Village Society. Thank you for your support.
Volunteering
We are always looking for volunteers to help us in our work. There are several ways you can help. Every Friday and Saturday we form a Work Crew which starts at 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. You don't need any special skills to participate. Just bring your lunch and be ready for a fun filled day with a group of "older" geezers. If you need additional information just contact Earle Post at scarab@nac.net
On weekends we are looking for volunteers to do interpretation at the village. This could involve interpreting a particular building or house in which case interpretive material will be supplied by the society. It could also involve demonstrating a particular craft or skill that dates to the 1850 to 1920 time period. If interested please contact: Earle Post at scarab@nac.net
Come one come all.
